It is now official that Hankook Tires will again be supporting the JIC USA / CROSS North America Racing and Motorsports program as the Title Sponsor for the 2007 season. JIC is honored to be with Hankook Tire as they have supported our motorsports team during the 2006 season with great success.

Plans for the Hankook Tire / JIC USA motorsports team is to compete in the Formula Drift series with the Nissan Silvia S15 making another return with driver, Kenji Yamanaka at the helm. In addition to the Silvia, JIC USA is proud to announce our second driver, Tyler McQuarrie to the mix as he will be sliding our new Drift Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo during the 2007 Season.

Not only will Hankook Tire be supporting our drifting program as a title sponsor, Hankook Tire will also be involved with our Time Attack program. This season, the Time Attack team has been more than succsessful in bringing in wins and dominating the field of racecars with the Nissan Silvia S15. In 2007, the Time Attack team will be bringing back two old favorites of the JIC Racing Fleet, the Mazda RX-8 with the turbo motor swap and the famous Nissan 350Z which has gone through a major make over with a new engine set up. Each vehicle should be putting down well over 600 hp in order to be competitive with the field of high horsepower vehicles.
