(Downey, CA) The Hankook Tire / JIC USA Drift Team made the short trip down to the shores of Long Beach at the Long Beach Grand Prix course for a pre-season media day. The pits were buzzing with a mixture of celeberty drivers for the Grand Prix and a small group of elite Formula Drift invited drivers to showcase to a numerous amounts of camera crews and media. Kenji Yamanaka and Tyler McQuarrie were suited up and ready to showcase to millions of television viewers how drifting is done on the streets of Long Beach.

With many eyes on them, both drivers out performed the rest as the group igniting the course and filling the coastal air with Hankook Tire smoke from the high performance Ventus Z212 tires. This also gave some time for both Tyler and Kenji to get acquainted with their cars that they will perform in this weekend. They fine tuned their JIC FLT-A2 coilovers so that it reacts to the uneven and unpredictable Long Beach Grand Prix asphalt.

This media day brought in a large amount of coverage to the Hankook Tire / JIC USA Drift Team as the drivers did many interviews and gave ride-alongs to the media.
